So after some feedback from my last post I thought I would return to the topic of food. It occurs to me that I forget to mention two strange foods really more like snacks. They say if your grandma doesn’t recognize it don’t eat it, well sorry grandma.
So I have found two new things here that I think are worth mentioning, as I junk food addict it is my duty. You can thank me later fellow Americans. First being chocolate bars with pop rocks in it, and I don’t mean like run of the mill poprocks, these things as the picture suggests are like little explosives, they also pop forever, even as you swallow them…everyone say ouch. Don’t worry I will bring some back so you can feel it for yourself.
Other thing is peanut butter cheetos minus any cheese flavor. They are like corn puffs rolled in peanut butter flavoring, called Bamba. Not to be mistaken with the baby deer in Disney films. They even have ones that are filled with chocolate. They are the strangest thing ever. And why there is a baby on the front in a diaper I have no idea.
That’s the Bamba baby!
The nougat filled ones are new. Keep in mind the chocolate is parve.
There is also strawberry.
Bamba was originally just in the army, but guys kept buying it in the army to bring home to their family so they eventually released it publicly.
The best Bamba, in my opinion, comes in the orange bag. It’s made by Osem.
I brought the chocolate back with me and my whole office loved it.
