I try to keep this blog about what is happening in Israel, but something distracted me lately. He is ten pounds of pure joy. My brand new nephew, William.
So I know babies are born everyday, but there is just something about holding a newborn baby that gives you hope for the future. Perhaps he is our next world leader, or as I said football player. He was ten pounds after all!! And my sister is tiny!
Not only a new nephew, a new job. I am working at a luxury car dealership, I keep saying it is my new plan to meet a rich husband! So far it is a good job. I haven’t ruined anything, though they haven’t let me drive the cars yet!
So to Israel, who needs St. Patricks day when you have PURIM!!! Purim is like the holiday we all dream of! Cookies, costumes, noise makers, drinking and dancing! There are posts from last year of me celebrating Purim on the Kibbutz, bunny ears and all. This year will be the first year in two years that I won’t be in Israel for Purim, sad I know. So for those of us who can’t be there, I am going to attempt to make Hamantaschen, and learn how to spell it. Even though it isn’t celebrated here in the states my theory is, it is only because people don’t know how great it is. I am working, even if it be single handedly to make Purim huge. So what I might be the only one in a costume on Saturday. Whose with me??? St. Patrick who?
