As a a note the usual humor and sarcasm that is this blog will be missing as there is nothing remotely humorous about this.
The last week the world has dealt with the disaster in Japan, and under reported or failed to report at all the story of the Fogel family, a family of 5, who were murdered in their beds as they slept. Their crime, none except for being Jewish, and being in a “settlement.” A terrorist group has claimed responsibility for their murders, including stabbing their three month old daughter as she slept in her fathers arms. Two other children were also stabbed through the heart, they were 4 and 11.
In response to this Hamas, handed out candy and celebrated the murderers. It is day like this that we all wonder is peace possible in a world where murders of children are praised . This kind of extreme cannot coexist with peace in any form.
Pictures of both the crime scene as well as the funeral in Jerusalem are available online, made available by the family so that the world can see what has happened. I did not post the pictures nor the videos available on youtube because I found them very very upsetting, and while I think they should be seen it is your choice.
Ask yourself this, why haven’t you seen this story in the newspaper or television? Is the world that quick to right off another “terrorist attack,” simply because it occurred in Israel? Had this happened in New York, London, or Shanghai we would surely have heard many reports.
Do not forget the Fogel family, as the rest of the world has. Tell their story as they cannot.
